My dad always says that your character is defined by who you are when people aren't looking. if you entertain bad things it makes you a bad person. The fact that you still want to do whatever you almost did and only stopped out of the guilt of hurting someone else, not because it was wrong, means you have a flaw in your character that you need to correct before you're worthy of the trust of someone else's heart.

when I first started dating the old lady and would take her on trips with me I would cringe whenever I'd hear "777!!!" from one of the ladies at work, especially if they were approaching from behind, not knowing initially if it might be a ghost from the past, really weird feeling, now when we're traveling and I hear it she just sighs, rolls her eyes and shakes her head, doesn't even look up anymore
