Oh. Okay. It sounded like you’d be the 3rd wheel.

It should be easy to plan. Louisiana is almost twice as big as Scotland.

No... are you going too, or just them? Whereabouts in Scotland?

Where’d you go! How’d you get around? How was the food?

I’m seeing cars are a bit of a challenge but there are trains and buses.

We visited Edinburgh (FYI, pronounced Edinburr), Inverness, Glasgow, St Andrews (Sin Andrews) , the Highlands where Ben Nevis is (the highest mountain in Great Britain). Stayed on the West Coast in a light house north of Gairloch. Spent a week in a small village called Limekilns... It was low-key, peaceful and awesome.

We rented a car. I drove over 1100 miles. Wrong side of the road... Kind of a challenge at first but I got comfortable. Get an automatic. You can rent a stick but I didn't want the extra distraction.

Food was good. Fish and chips were delicious. 'Chips' are French fries and 'crisps' are potato chips. They don't use a lot of anything... Spices, S&P, condiments etc. It is not lavish dining for the most part.

I would recommend not driving in the bigger cities. Park outside and take the train/subways/buses.

Hello LCA. All good on this end. Hope the same with yours.
Road trip with friends for a get together in LFT. Weather supposed to be crappy this weekend so I guess activities will all be held under roof.
What’s on your agenda for the weekend?

Hello 79. Long time no see. Hope you are doing well.

Good for you! I think I find myself more busy now than when I was working.
Keep yourself moving and enjoy every day of it!

Good morning DPH
