Bittersweet day. Working icu and going to OR with a donor case today.
A blessing for several families is the worst day for another.
Several Christmas wishes will be granted today while another’s nightmare is occurring.
Just a swirl of emotions. Always feel this way with donor cases, especially around holidays.

Just had the last huddle with donor services before going to the OR.
One person will be getting a heart today.
Another one- a kidney.
And the other is getting a liver and a kidney.
I cried when speaking with and consoling the family of the donor- and I am not a crier. So very bittersweet.
Teech - hate that the step dad is behaving like a horses arse. Hope some sort of sense is talked into him soon.

I saw an interview from years ago saying in whatever year her contract was up to rerecord albums 1-5. Rep is 6. So I'm just giving up.
