I worked with her she was on the same management team as myself. Great co-worker even better person. Terrible meeting to have to start the day off with.
I woke up to the fb message from a classmate telling me about it. Like I said, I didn't keep in touch with her after HS but I just remember her being a very sweet person. I just can't imagine why anyone would ever want to do that to her, esp someone that supposedly loves her. She was a very smart person...editor of our yearbook. I remember she was always very well dressed at school. Just carried herself very well, very poised.
Was her husband mentally ill?

I was just wondering what the big deal was about a picture being posted
So what are you looking to get out of posting your photo?
That is what i don't get. Are you looking for approval? You are looking for feedback of some sort. IMO, that isn't what a message board is here for. But I guess it is what you make it.

how old were they?
She was my age...so 35
Her children 5 and 1, both boys I'm finding out.
I don't know who her husband was. Doesn't look like she had a fb acct.

I think I know...

i don't see how a social message board goes without social interaction, and people want to know what the people they're posting to look like. this internet law was established in chat rooms in the mid-90s, back in the .bmp days and TOS violations

Do you over analyze everything this much?
I asked why people always talked about pictures and no one posted. Several told me to post one, so I did, b/c I don't see what the big deal is. And you start analyzing?

Another possibility is that he was abusive, she finally decided to leave, and to prevent that, he killed her and himself. Domestic abuse is one of the factors that can lead to murder or murder/suicide. I'm not saying it's the only or even the most common reason, but that's one reason that leaving an abusive spouse is risky.

Yeah many of my former classmates are putting up a purple ribbon that says "End Domestic Violence" as their profile pic on fb in memory of her.

Ugh... so sad. At least the 1-year old won't remember anything.... The 5 year old will probably never recover though. :(

I doubt that will end it, just my opinion.

It was a bit windy/chilly out there. Had to have some warmth.

This is how conversation works.
You asked a question, so I gave my answer.
Took me as much time to think about as it did to type it. No analyzing here.
Next time I'll remember to just ignore a question when it is posed directly to me. My mistake sir.

Yeah sad to say but in a year people will have forgotten or moved on. Friend of mine committed suicide just before high school graduation, everyone got on this bullying high school thing and by the end of summer most had moved on.
