Been up since 530. Coffee just was prepped. Soon I will be ready to deal with this Christmas.

HC, only reason I’m up so early this am....is so my husband can give me my progesterone shot. I have to have it between 6:30-7 each am.

Nurse gave my first shot yesterday and showed him exactly how to do it. She even marked me with a sharpie so he will know where to give it.

I am kinda nervous right now

Warm it up first and massage after!

Boo was out of town for one of mine and I definitely had him mark me with a sharpie so I would know where to do it.

he oldest existing record of a Christmas celebration is found in a Roman almanac that tells of a Christ’s Nativity festival led by the church of Rome in 336 A.D.

While that may be the oldest existing record, we have writings from the middle of the second century (roughly AD 150) of early Church Fathers such as St. Theophilus exhorting Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25. And we know that Pope St. Telesphorus (reigned AD 126-137) was the one who instituted the celebration of Midnight Mass on December 24. While history doesn't tell us WHY Telesphorus was celebrating mass at midnight on what is now Christmas Eve, a logical deduction would tell us that at least some of the earliest Christians were celebrating Christ's birthday on December 25.

Merry Christmas Nurse. My daughter, the smartass, bought us a calendar. Each month has a picture of a dog taking a dump. Somewhere around August or September is a tan colored Pug named Butters, taking a dump in the desert.

I thought of you this morning.
