On this day in 1942, 16 American B-25 bombers, launched from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet 650 miles east of Japan and commanded by Lieutenant Colonel James H. Doolittle, attack the Japanese mainland.

Supposed to go to a Memorial for my Uncle tonight.He ran of the road and wrecked,maybe 2 months ago.During routine tests they found a Brain Tumor.He went fast.I dread seeing his grand-kids more than anything.
