Did not happen

Guess I’m either getting sick or I was exhausted. I slept 10 hours. Sweating at the barn now.

After my company relocated me to FL from LA and did EVERYTHING, you come appreciate how much moving sucks. They packed, unpacked, did it all. When I moved from my condo to the new house here, carrying that granite tabletop down a flight of stairs was brutal.

Aspy I know all about that sweating I have been in my garage going through shite. Sounds like you need a nice bucket of ice water dumped on you.

Sorry I couldn't resist

The horse may, though. I’m hoping he has a better attitude today so it can be a short ride.

So, what is going on at the barn? You said you live about 45 minutes away from your ponies, right? Do you go everyday? How much does it cost to board a pony?

My 20 and 17 year old sons and myself can do most of the lifting but we are also trying to declutter before the move to the new house. Let's just say the Goodwill store has been getting alot of dropoffs and the garbage men have been busy.

Hey Aspy!

Decided I’m not driving to bottomless brunch...the wiser choice being to Uber there and back

I have very little "stuff" (no pictures on the walls, no decorations) but as a 5'0, 105lbs. female, hefting a headboard that is 8' tall down stairs sucks

ETA - I coulda used your sons FLBoo, haha

morning nursie, aspy, lith, lizzie, everyone...

long day yesterday...and I actually found a good home for some of the albums and CD's...

it was really sad going to the uncles' house and seeing it all empty (then seeing how much work it needs after everything got moved out)...

amazingly enough, the house is sold for cash, as-is, with no inspection!!!!

Morning nurse.

How's the desert heat these days?

My dad lived in Palm Springs and it was nothing for it to be 115 degrees and it didn't feel that bad compared to 98 degrees and 100 humidity in Louisiana.

30-45 depending on traffic. Scotty needs to be ridden at least 5 days a week so it’s either 5 or 6 days a week. Board Louisiana ranges from about $350-$1,200 based on places I know. Mine is nowhere near the $1,200

I’m attempting to clean his stall the best I can while leaving him a little cushion. The fricking idiots who run this place (we got stuck here after the flood) decided not to get shavings last week. They also usually fail to clean his stall, which is part of board. I hate it here.
