Today is National Mint Julep Day.
Happy birthday to CeeLo Green.
JOTD: Two blondes were shopping at the mall. When they were done, they went out to their car, an awesome leather-interior convertible, but they realized they had locked the keys in the car. So they both kind of stood there and thought for a while. Then one of the girls had the bright idea to try to open the car with a coat hanger, so she started fiddling with the lock. The other blonde looked up at the sky, became very worried, and pleaded, "Hurry, hurry! It's going to rain and we left the top down!"

Not here. Water levels in ponds are low. If my house floods, so do 10,000's of others and it will make the national news.
Now you have me curious about the elevations.

Morning CajunSoldier.
It's rained enough here in the last couple of days to make it muggy.

Had one nice rain fall. Got about two inches. It helped, but no more rain in the forecast for a week or so.
In a funk somewhat. Didn't even get out the house yesterday other then unload a ice chest of catfish that was cleaned and giving to me. Kind of a day of licking my wounds. Going to be another one today.

Good morning Tidal. I think you would enjoy that rain more if you changed your perspective. Think of it as liquid sunshine.

A niece and her so caught over 600lbs in three days. Dang shame I'm not up to it getting out there.

Morning BDTLSU.
We didn't get much rain. The lay of the land here causes weather fronts to turn to the west of me usually.
It works out great for Tornados. Not so great when we need the rain.
It'll all work out though.

Happens here due to the Mississippi River and a big Oxbow Lake called False River. I'm in a area the Mississippi River turns East, which is North of me, and then a real sharp South bend.
