I know it's tough Nurse. He is just not getting something that he needs. Figuring out what is the trick. Don't forget to take care of yourself as well.

Hey Tiger 79. '79 at LSU was good times. They were transitioning from gym shorts and halter tops to button downs and long shorts.

The transition helped some with the swelling.

I was there in the late 70's. We went from Disco to New Wave.
Coeds in halter tops and gym shorts were so nice

I still wouldn't have evacuated

We got hit pretty hard but evacuation wasn't in the cards. While I had tons of gas, most of the state was out. The roads were all parking lots. I would rather drown than sit through all of that.

I rode out the threads about Irma, The car warsh, the blue shed, etc. Many heroes were spawned those nights. Now, it seems more like good times than what it actually was.

We were all talking, Liz had tree problems, Irma hit her at about 140 mph, Liz went from perky and happy to oh shite, then poof, she was gone for almost a month.

Her BF had never even seen a tropical depression and went straight to the NFL of hurricanes. I figured he would move back to the Midwest after that.

Good times, not.

In retrospect, it does seem like it was a good time 3' of water for 2 months, no power for 12 days, lots of booze and card games. Read a couple of books. Hell, maybe it was fun!
Yeah, the SO was like "I'm moving back to MO"
He didn't

2 months of standing water and 140 mph winds aren't exactly a walk in the park, Berg

More like wading. And I am so short, my knee high rainboots would just fill with water when I walked to the neighbor's house

Odds that you get yelled at because it’s too hot outside?
