My 2020 Tundra was my most timely vehicle purchase to date.
One month before pandemic. 8 months before chip shortage. Before free money and escalating inflation.
And right before they refreshed the Tundra line, which I’m not sure I care for.
I bought a 2021 and agree with this. I'm pretty happy getting the last model of the V8.

Dammit, now this will drive up the price of Ridgelines!

Nothing wrong with it in a vacuum but compared to other models it’s not even close. Static gauges, small screen, single pane sunroof, cheap plastic finishes, wired Apple Car Play. When you’re dropping $60k plus on a truck you’d expect it to have current tech. Just look at the interior of a King Ranch/Platinum F150 and compare it to a Sierra Denali, it’s a bloodbath.

What's wrong with the interior? I was in a sierra texas edition recently and thought the interior was really nice.
Not that there’s necessarily anything wrong with it. It’s just very underwhelming. The new Ram interior with the 12 inch touchscreen looks updated and clean. The Denali’s interior just looks cheap for the money you’re paying.
Give me something bigger than a 7 inch touchscreen if you want me to pay Denali prices.

I hear a lot of people say that. I think it looks like a tundra design that Toyota scrapped.

It's comparable to the competition until you get to the more expensive trucks. Ram in particular has an awesome interior on their top of the line models.
I'm a Toyota fan, but they are WAY behind even GM on this.

Recently? How long did you have to wait?
There are no Tundras in inventory in my area anymore. Hasn't been since late March.

You could always do it yourself.

And make and already outdated interior look trashy? Nah, I’m good.

But the Silverado has got to be the ugliest full size truck in the past decade.

The 6.2 is blowing heads and dropping cylinders before 10K miles. POS

I didn't technically. Saw one show up on dealers website about 90 miles from where I live. Called and was told it was scheduled to be built a couple of weeks later, but was already sold. Dealer called me back a couple of days later and said that the deal fell through. I drove up there, got my trade agreed on, and put the down payment on it.
Was built 2 weeks later, and I picked it up this weekend. Was about 3 weeks total for me.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the twin turbo V6 in the Tundra fares.
