Are you (rhetorical "you") really gonna try and convince me that people stayed up/woke up in the middle of the night to watch Bad Bunny?

There's no way Europeans, Middle Easterners, and Asians adjusted their sleep schedules to watch an entertainer for a 15-30 "MTV Live" show. The public has been fed so much BS at this point.

I simply don't believe it - whoever published the findings needs to produce the methodology and back it up. World Cup Final is believable, but they don't have halftime shows.

You keep referring to a cult. Is this the cult that meets any disagreement with violence and yelling? The one that tells their friends and family not to engage with anyone that disagrees with them, and even shun them completely? The one that can't define a woman? That cult?

Yep, the one you belong to. And I don’t want the likes of you around ne either. Now go abuse a woman.

The views are based off broadcasts and digital viewership + total social media consumption within the first 24 hours.

It includes "activity across fan accounts, official league and partner platforms, broadcast partners and influencer amplification."

This is why they did it. They dont care about the TD audience. That audience is already watching the NFL

The super bowl audience is different than the audience the NFL attracts during the season. More than half the people who watch the halftime show probably didn't watch a single game the whole season.

This is nothing new, its just that in the past the biggest people in music have been Americans. Music is subjective and with streaming, people have access to a lot more different type of music. I don't care for bad bunny, but obviously a lot of people do.. So.. I still don't know why this triggered people.

I would like to see Post Malone next year, but then again I really don't give a shite who it is.. But it would be pretty cool if Queen did it with that dude.. Adam something? He sounds pretty good singing with them. That would be cool.

So they’re just putting that number out there without providing any evidence or statement about how they got that number?

Yep! Their methodology has to be slop. How would they know how many people are watching any given screen? There’s people watching solo at home, people watching in groups at house parties, people watching at restaurants and bars (along with plenty of people there NOT watching). Even if they came up with some kind of average viewers per screen, it would still be crazy off base.

We are supposed to believe half the people in Botswana and Mongolia tuned in when half the people in the US didn’t watch it?

I didn't want to believe it, but if it's coming from ROC Nation, you can take it to the bank.

No.

This number is likely made up, but I do think they are expecting you to understand the difference between "views" and "viewers."

I was in Vegas; I'm sure there were thousands of TVs around me that showed it but I didn't watch it. I won my under bet for the first half and didn't care after that.

I didn’t watch. The Kendrick mess (what was that?) was the last straw for me. These shows should be in English.
