I got an Orion cooler with the purchase of my kayak a few years ago and it’s been great. Heavy as hell, but will keep food and drinks cold for the entirety of long, overnight paddle trips.

Coleman Coastal Extreme Marine Cooler will keep ice frozen a couple days and is less than $50. You can buy parts like hinges and spouts if something breaks and needs replacement. They come in various sizes.
