GI Bill Question. What will 2 and a half months get you?

Get a commercial driver's license by doing one of those truck schools. Most offer 4-week, 8-week, and 12-week courses.

I would think certifications are the way to go.

Another option is to apply for Chapter 30 benefits through the V.A. If you're 10% or greater I think you can qualify for other scholarships through the VA and/or DoD.

Not sure if those programs still exist or not.

if i remember and read it right years ago, you may be eligible for a partial portion of the post 911 GI bill.

those who used the GI bill before it was passed and served after a certain date (you definitely did) can get some through a grandfather clause.

don't take what I say as fact. but definitely worth looking into. should be on the VA site's post 911 gi bill page.
