I don't know what to tell you then. I see what looks like 2 little kids. I have a hard time seeing an adult most times, ever so often it stands out, but I always see the 2 little kids when I watch it.

Yea the 2 kids are clear as can be but at around 12 seconds when your friend moves a little you can see someone taller on the stairs with the kids.

Okay I see it now you have to have real keen eyes turn up the brightness a little and put it in slow and its pretty damn freaky. yeah he moves right through those kids then it pans back and suddenly theres a taller figure that seems to be holding the hand of one of the kids. But I only see one kid the second time so maybe one of the kids is just higher on the stairs so his shadow looks larger? Have you asked that second guy what he saw?
