I'd join the Navy or some other branch of the military, get job placement and training, all while getting my degree in an allied medical field with a promising future.

Do people join the military in their late 20's/early 30's? I always thought it was a young person's game.

I tried to join the army when I was 24 not knowing that seizures are an automatic rejection. Tried to join national guard again earlier this year(30 now) because I have been seizure free since I was 25, and they told me I couldn't, so yes people join when they are older

National guard isn't much of a commitment if you are in school

Joining the armed forces doesn't sound like something you should be doing at this point

I am doing exactly that now. I am majoring in finance and letting my employer pay the tuition. I just have to buy books.

Go get an Associate's Degree in a Computer Science related field for less time and less money than a 4 year degree.

The difference in your viable employment options and salary post-graduation will be negligible.

IT IS where the jobs are. I work for a large Development shop in Dallas where many co-workers only carry Associate's degrees.

Not to be a dick, but I work in IS and you won't get a spot on our project without a BS, a lot of us have Masters as well.

I did this exact thing when I was 30. Best decision ever. But, I went from being a landscaper to sitting in an office most of the day. So there was an environmental advantage to this change! Got degree in CM fwiw.

OK I'm a little older than 20s or 30s (54 actually) & I'm finishing my degree now....2 more classes after the one I'm in and my degree is in Business Administration; very marketable because it covers so many disciplines.

Industrial Engineering
Business Management
Leadership Development

Would be my top three choices for someone that doesn't need a degree in a specific discipline.
