Off road vehicle accident. 77 years old. A titan in the oil and gas industry. I never met him, but his company, LLOG, was a great client of ours.

Guy lived the outdoorsman's dream near my hometown. Bought up thousands and thousands of acres of some of the best hunting land in the country from IP. Built a couple huge houses 150ft up on the bluff of the MS river overlooking his paradise.

I'm sure it sucks for his family but at 77, dying while out enjoying his property would be high up on my preferred ways to leave this world.

Oh wow. My first thought was whether this happened on his property in MS. Looks like that’s correct. So sad. I never met him, but admired his taste in land to amass that swath. Having that loess dirt in my veins, I have trouble imagining a cooler spot anywhere on the planet.

Jerry was a really great guy and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Penrod, you work on the production, drilling, or offshore support side?
