Not sure if they made him a bad guy or just exposed him for the type of person he is. His rap sheet kind of speaks for itself.

Hes not a complete a-hole.
Neither was TM. Most people have a few good qualities.

Technically, he did kill TM. You can legally kill someone and still be referred to as a killer..
But GZ put himself in position to where he ended up "having" to shoot him. First, if he would have just stayed in his vehicle, like the 911 operator told him to do, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Even before that, as the neighborhood watch leader, he completely shite the bed when it came to how he approached the whole situation. It was a rainy evening in the winter and he sees someone walking with a hood on, and calls 911. How hard would it have been for him to pass by him, stop and say "you need a ride somewhere?" At that point he would be able to get a feel if it was someone who was trying to get home and get out the rain or someone who was up to no good. But he was a habitual 911 caller so that's the first thing he went with.
Also, when he got out to go look for TM. If there was a threat of a physical altercation, why not let him know that he had a gun and had the upper hand? That would have prevented an altercation (this I can only assume, because I don't know how that part all went down. We just know the two ended up in a physical altercation, which lead to TM hitting GZ with a cement brick which then lead to GZ shooting TM.
There were several opportunities for GZ to not take it to where it went.

Except the dispatch operator told him no such thing and was already out of his truck. When the dispatch operator told him he didn't need to continue looking, he complied and headed back to his truck. Don't know why you people keep repeating such an easily debunked lie. Willful ignorance? Stupidity?

Residents in the said gated community said there had been dozens of reports of attempted break-ins and would-be burglars casing homes.
7 months before the incident a black teenager stole a bicycle off the Zimmermans' porch
5 months before the Trayvon incident two young black men broke into the house of Olivia Bertalan, Zimmerman's neighbor, while she was in the house. She hid upstairs and called the police while the two men tried to steal her TV. When the police arrived, they fled. One of them ran through the Zimmermans' yard.
The next month, because of all the burglaries, several residents of the neighborhood asked the neighborhood association to create a neighborhood watch and Zimmerman was asked to run it.
The next month, two more houses in the neighborhood were robbed.
3 weeks before the incident, Zimmerman spotted a young black man looking into the windows of a neighbor's house. He called the police and said "I don't know what he's doing. I don't want to approach him, personally." By the time the police finally arrived, the man was gone.
4 days later another house was burglarized. Witnesses said two of the robbers were black teenagers. One of them was soon caught with a laptop stolen from the house. He turned out to be the same man Zimmerman had previously reported looking in windows.
Zimmerman's black neighbor was quoted as saying "Let's talk about the elephant in the room. I'm black, OK? There were black boys robbing houses in this neighborhood. That's why George was suspicious of Trayvon Martin."
Many of the perpetrators of the prior burglaries and thefts were apparently never caught.

So he was just supposed to hollar out to a person who couldn't see that he had a gun? How retarded are you to imagine that is a good thing to do in such a scenario? TM was at the doorstep of his house, far away from GZ who had lost track of him, he could have just walked inside and not confronted GZ.

Here is the 911 call.
At the 1:45 mark the operator ask GZ "are you following him?" GZ replies "Yes" and the operator says "Okay sir, we don't need you to do that".

Exactly. He was already out, the operator asks the question, he answers, she tells him to stop, he complies and starts heading back to his truck.
Your version: He was still in his truck, she tells him not to get out, he does anyway.
Big difference in context and how the events have been portrayed.

The link I provided was the first 911 call he made. It was a male operator who told him to not follow him. This was before he was following him in his car, when the female operator told him to stay in his vehicle.

Transcript of the actual call:

Wrong. This was the call made after he had left his vehicle, lost TM in the neighborhood, and was heading back to his vehicle to await the police.

I really don't feel like breaking down the whole conversation but there are several questionable things going on.
Why didn't GZ want to give them his address?
Why didn't he want to meet the officers at the gate?
He first says he is coming towards him and then says he ran off. So if he was so concerned with him coming towards him why did he start chasing him, when he ran away? Evidently he wasn't that concerned with him having something on him.

I remember stating repeatedly when this happened that it was two idiots who ran into each other and fate took care of the rest.
Where this all went sideways was some moron SJW journalist saw a guy named "George Zimmerman" killed a black teen and immediately thought they had their next civil rights case. When it was discovered he was Hispanic (white Hispanic), it all went off the rails from there. Had this journalist not done this, it would have just been another ignored minority on minority crime.

Speak for yourself. I stated that I thought that an overzealous POS wannabe cop decided to interrogate a black kid in "his" neighborhood and ended up getting his arse whooped. His recourse, as least as I guessed...shoot the kid. Do I think Trayvon Martin was the angelic choir singer that the MSM portrayed...no. Did he deserve to be shot...no. its called a "neighborhood WATCH" for a reason. If he had suspicions, then he should have called the cops.
frick that guy.

Read the transcript: "...I don't want to give it all out, I don't know where the kid is." He didn't know if TM was close by and could overhear his conversation with the dispatcher.

Why didn't he want to meet the officers at the gate?
Once again, read the transcript. He said nothing about not wanting to meet the officers at the gate. He gave instructions on where he was past the gate and the dispatcher seemed to be ok with that too.

He was just running commentary on the situation, which is a smart thing to do when on the phone with 911. He didn't chase TM, TM ran off, GZ lost sight of him and looked around in the vicinity. TM was several houses down the block by the time the dispatcher advised GZ to go back to his truck.

If TM really wanted to find out where GZ lived, it wouldn't have been that hard. Did he think that all of a sudden TM started stalking him?

Why make it a dead giveaway by calling out his address? If TM was as scared of GZ as you imagine why didn't he go inside his house instead of doubling back so far to confront GZ? Are you going to address the points from the Reuter's article?
