Then apparently in more recent years they stopped teaching kids that dating drug dealers and murderers was wrong and would likely get yourself into trouble or worse because of close associations with such people.

It's why no knocks, especially in the middle of the night, should be completely abolished
Agree.

But the police in this case knocked and announced they were police before they busted into the apartment. DA mentioned it yesterday and said an independent witness backed up that account. Whether the occupants of the apartment could hear and make out "police" before their door got kicked in is a different debate.

He should be more ashamed of the movie library he has made the last 10 years. He has just faded into obscurity.

Why does it matter what color they ade? No group kills more black people than black people.

We're slowly losing due process in this country.

Between cancel culture, no-knock warrants, lack of oversight for a policing system that can act as judge, jury, and executioner - there isn't much hope.

not even relevant, they had a warrant

I agree.
But, it changes how they approach a raid.

I imagine I'd operate differently raiding a violent drug gang vs some 50 y.o. financial criminal.

Take Exxon, for instance. They traditionally lean on hiring minority operators.

You forgot to point out that said operators scored much lower on pre employment testing than others that weren’t hired.

Police came knocking, boy friend shot police thinking it was the old boyfriend.

And the "old boyfried" line is bullshite, too.

She was admittedly involved in drug dealing with the old boyfriend. He had a phone in her name, still got mail at her house, still had a bank account with her, and still spoke with her. She was still making him money, as he was recorded on a jailhouse phone call the day after she died telling his girlfriend that Taylor was "handling shite" and had $8k of his money.

If he was an "old boyfriend" that she was so concerned about kicking her door in, would she still be so tied up with him on a personal level, nevermind on a "business" level?

Who cares about anything George Clooney thinks?

I was blissfully ignorant about it, before you felt the need to post it here. Frick you for that.
