Not all, but a majority of Gen X people respected their Greatest Generation grandparents over their Boomer parents for obvious reasons. In fact, they blame Boomers for just about everything that is wrong with the USA today. The reason Gen X didn't all turn out all jacked up was they had a generation (grandparents) to look up to if their parents were sacks-of-shite Boomers.
Generation Z will be a watered down version of Gen X and a last gasp at what traditional normalcy used to be. They will be overrun by their shitty parents and indoctrination of academia, MSM, and politics.
The hipster culture is a prime example... The paper boy hat and fedora should have died with the Greatest Generation. Watching soyboy millennials wear them is comical... mostly because people don't deliver papers by bicycle anymore. Unfortunately, the kids that used to play old dude dress-up are now having kids
