So are you saying Southeast Louisiana may see some severe weather today?

I got family in Louisville, bham and Ttown. So far they're all accounted for. Please keep info coming in. I'm on the west coast. Thanks everyone.

As best I can tell from what my tupelo friends are posting on FB, they are gonna need a lot of chainsaws and manpower to help move trees out of roadways

so you have to move the car in order to get into the shelter? Thats a piss poor plan

False. We just move our car up a few feet in the garage and it's plenty of room to get in. Literally takes 5 seconds and I never have to open the garage door. I could leave the car parked forward more all the time but I like having room in front of the garage to maneuver around. I guess those people in the pic have a really shallow garage.

Wifi reception is great oddly enough.

Eta: the company that installed actually recommends to leave the car parked over it as the car potentially (and has in some cases) serves as buffer for a collapsed house to allow for someone to still get out.

Who did you use for the storm shelter? We close on our house in Edmond next week and we've been getting prices from several places.

you can certainly tell the path of the tornado in that pic by how it missed those few homes down below.
