Tornado emergency for southern Tuscaloosa county. Confirmed tornado 7 Miles south of town.

Theyve been going off the past hour. Spann just said if youre in the Gardendale and Mt Olive area to get to a safe place immediately.

Birmingham could be in a lot of trouble if their surface winds stay out of the SE (backed) as the Tuscaloosa cell is moving right up I-20.
