Sending a thumbs-up can be seen as passive aggressive and even confrontational, according to Gen Z who claim they feel attacked whenever it is used.

I really hate to sound like a curmudgeon, and I am in my early 30s myself, but I work in the service industry, so I brush shoulders with young kids, and the absolute state of people 18-22 right now is horrifying.

Just the lack of work ethic alone.

An article about a single Reddit comment. This is where we are.

And this board eats it up because "Gen-Z bad."

My Gen Z nephew uses it pretty often.

If you get past the attention grabbing Zoomer fragility lede, the rest of the article isn't too bad. It talks about how emojis are lazy and lack clarity in a professional setting, which is true.

Once you accept every generation sucks for different reasons, life is easier.

And treating daily mail as a legitimate source is laughable.

Hell I’m late 30s and notice that people use the emoji in this way. I don’t feel attacked though.

We desperately need a large scale EMP to knock out smart phones

Back to basic flip phones.

Time to cut them off
