I plead the 5th.
Nah, I always tip too much. I'm glad I don't eat out much.

This is as racial as I'll get on here, but from my observations and knowing people in the industry, if I owned a bar I would be scared that it turned urban.
Some bars that had to close shortly after catering to an urban crowd:
Poets in BR
The Plaza
The bar previously known as Karma in downtown laffy.
Plus others I can't remember because they are so forgettable.
And it's not that all the urban clubs go out of business. Most of the time you have serious issues such as Keeping good help (lack of tipping), security issues, issues with loitering (parking lot pimping),drug problems, people bringing in outside liqour, etc.
That being said, I see no reason some respectable looking guys couldn't get in if dressed correctly.

Socio-economic status is what would matter to me, not race. I wouldn't want a bunch of neck tatted rednecks showing up, just like I wouldn't want hood rats showing up. I think we agree on that, for sure.

Mostb of the time i would agree but I've been to the club with a few of my black friends and even they being respectable guys do the parking lot shite and the drugs.
Its about black youth culture and not economic status.

The Keg went black twice and had to close. After that they enforced a strict dress code, if you were black they'd find a reason not to let you in

I think Mako's did too but its been decades since I've been down McKinnley so I have no clue what's going on down there.

It's pretty well known that they racially discriminate at that bar. I'm surprised it's just making the news now.
