I am presently using my shindiawa I bought brand new in 1999 when I bought my house. Replaced the head, filter and spark plugs. Runs and has power like a new one.
It was $300 then, amortized it's been ~$20 per year. I just finished the original reel of 0.95 string as well. I think it was 1000 feet. I had to replace the line feed apparatus once, the bottom of the disc wore out.
I always only run non-ethanol gas in it, I run it totally out of gas at the end of the season.

Echo dips their carbs after mfg to keep down gunk from sticking around the parts. I sell both along with redmax. I would go with Echo over Sthil for trimmers and Sthil on chainsaws. Redmax is also nice just apple for apples a little more expensive.
Sthil makes a residential line made in China I wouldn't touch it.
If you do not use it a lot use truefuel.

Had a Stihl and liked it. Lost it in the flood. Gotta replace it.
I think you answered your question. Now if you want, you could change brands to a similar Husky.

HUsqvarna is the way to go.

All I ever used when I had my lawn businesses were Echo. I don't mind Stihl, but I would rank my favorites (in terms of quality, power, and longevity)
1. Echo
2. Shindawa
3. Stihl
1. Echo
2. Shindawa
3. Stihl
