Gary Sinise Flies Kids Of Fallen US Soldiers To Disney World For Christmas

I am sure every media outlet will be all over this story.
quote:
Gary Sinise, best-known for his role as Lieutenant Dan Taylor in the 1994 film adaptation of Forrest Gump, has done what may be thought of as the impossible for many children this Christmas season. Sinise flew over a thousand children to Disney World for Christmas this year whose mothers or fathers died while actively serving in the military.
There is a special non-profit organization dedicated to these kinds of families and children, called Gold Star Children. The non-profit works to raise awareness about those children surviving without their fallen parents by “utilizing film and interactive media, the current goal of Gold Star Children is to distribute the documentary film, “Gold Star Children” to every state in the U.S. and audiences around the world,” according to the official Gold Star Children website.
quote:
Sinise is well aware of this organization and decided to take this opportunity to fly out these kids to Disney World as part of a gesture from the Gary Sinise Foundation, who is focused on “honoring veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need,” as stated on the official website for the foundation.

That is awesome. I wish I had money like he does because I would be all in on doing stuff like that. So cool!

it's unfortunate this man hasn't ever won Time Magazine's person of the year.

Has been doing shite like this for years. He gives back so much and you never really hear about it. Seems like a legit good dude that uses his fame and wealth for good.

he's a good dude but there's a little bit of stolen valor here, he's attached his name to what my company has been doing for years, it is a great program though

He is a great follow on Twitter. Does a lot of good for vets and their families.
He will never win any awards because of his political beliefs.

no offense, but how is that stolen valor? I give to St. Judes. Am I stealing valor from those who also give?
and thanks to your company for its actions.

operation snowball express is, and has been running for a long time, it was started at my company, and is a great program and I've had some great experiences being part of it, everything is 100% donated/funded by those making the project work, the planes, fuel, crews, catering, lodging, meals, admission to wherever they're going, concessions, etc., again, it's an awesome program, just not Gary's baby, and he's certainly not footing the bill, if he is, he owes me probably >$100k

His investment in that fruit company is really paying off.

It's very telling, Sinise does a great job, and thankless job of raising money for vets, their families, deceased families of vets, etc.
Yet Hollweirdos give him ZERO love or ups. They still haven't given him any awards, as they do others, who do so little in charity ventures.
They completely ignore him and his work. It shows the true colors of libtards, in this country and in Hollywood.

GTFOH Christ, not everything has to be political.
The dude does great things like mentioned in the OP. He's not doing this shite for glory or accolades, he's doing it because these are causes near and dear to his heart. He's a good man. Let's just celebrate his contributions instead of trying to turn everything into some political bias conspiracy.

Straight from the Snowball Express website:
So about that "stolen valor"

not dissing Lt. Dan, you have to have celebs as the face of organizations like this at times, to generate interest and donations
Posted on 12/13/18 at 10:47 am to 777Tiger
Why must you shite on this good deed?

All you have to do is go to the website: snowballexpress.org
His face is plastered all over it. It may have started as something different but now Snowball Express = Gary Sinise
