Garth Brooks has been an inauthentic douchebag from the jump and it only gets worse the older he gets.
Yeah he had better music than the bro-country crap that's prevalent today, but that's not saying much.
Watch a few minutes of his Netflix documentary, if you can stand it.

Number 1 Hits:
George Strait 60
Conway Twitty 40
Alan Jackson 34
Garth Brooks 20
As an artist he doesn't even come close to George, Conway, or Alan

This is a pathetic thread and comparing George "stand still playing a guitar" Strait to Garth "3 lines of cocaine for breakfast" Brooks in entertainment levels is just silly

One artist let's his vocals, lyrics, and sounds of fiddles/steel guitar,to earn him 60 #1 hits, the other artist needs gimmicks like alter egos, swinging from cables, lip syncing at award shows and moving to the pop music genre to stay relevant.
So who's the real Pathetic Artist?

Alan Jackson wrote a pretty good portion of his hits...

They all lip sync. Seen any super bowl halftimes lately?

Garth is the definition of an Entertainer
Alan, Conway and Strait were better seen in smaller/intimate locations because they just sing.

I'm hoping this is the year we can recognize Chip McCapp and his song "Beautiful Like my Mom (Support the Troops)"
