Build that sumbitch as big as you can. You are going to use the extra room for storage. Also, build it high enough that water pooling in a driveway is not an issue.

That's bullshite right there. I had a garage door company and installed thousands of doors.I installed doors for a NASA project. You want problems install one large door instead of 2.
The biggest problems with garage doors are builders that can't frame doors property and concrete foundation framers that still use outdated techniques. Too lazy to open a damn installation instruction manual. You can buy the worlds best door and hire the best company to install it. It won't work on a substandard garage frame.

Measure your vehicles. I have enough room for two vehicles in mine side by side but my F150 supercrew barely, and I mean barely, fits in longways. If I had my trailer hitch in the garage door would not close. I have a tennis ball hanging so I dont hit the far wall.
