I’m having a hard time figuring out where at “crime scene” the vandal is standing in the police photos. Plus the swastika and 8s don’t match the scene photo.

Agreed. Look at the 4. It crosses itself in one pic but not the other. The 8 doesn’t finish at the top in one pic but not the other. The swatiska is definitely a different drawing. Something fishy here.

After thinking about it more, maybe there is vandalism at other parts of the building that aren’t seen in the OP photo.

Scruffy agrees.
In the pic with the culprit, the swastika is below the door handle, while it is above the handle in the big photo and the numbers don’t match.
That’s weird.
