It's funny because everyone (including myself) were wrong earlier assuming she hate half the meal before complaining.

But what she did is just as bad. If you sit down at a restaurant and order something like that salad and you're going to be that picky about the shrimp, you ask questions before you order it.

The menu isn't misleading. She ordered it and got it how ordered and was apparently immediately rude about it and refused to even allow any sort of "correction" to her specifications.

Restaurants can't operate like that and I don't blame them for still trying to charge her.

I have spent 20+ years in the restaurant business as everything from a buss boy to a General Manager, and I can tell you just get beat down by these encounters. I will say that many restaurants refer to any shrimp dish that is not battered and dropped in the fryer as being "grilled shrimp". The fact that this person is throwing this kind of fit because of the distinction between grilled and sauteed shrimp is ludicrous. These encounters happen all the time.

The fact that the recording starts with the OWNER at the table asking for some form of payment means that there were multiple attempts at resolving the issue in a peaceful manner, but the customer is pursuing an end game that the restaurant isn't willing to accommodate.

The fact that this person has caused scenes at other restaurants tells me that she is a habitual freeloader.

Trust me, this restaurant will not miss one dime of this persons patronage

I always find it funny when these incidents arise that the typical suspects always poke their head in and talk about how much their dollar means and they're going elsewhere now.

If only they realized that servers across the city - black, white, Asian, Hispanic, whatever - are glad that they no longer have to bend over backwards for an hour of bitching and no tip. They'd love for you to go make someone else's life hell.

I'm fairly confident the sheriff isn't siding with her. They are nearly acomidating her to keep a situation from blowing up like the Sammys altercation did. Sheriff has bigger issues right now than to deal with a lady mad about skrimps.

Someone should ask her to name any places that she HAS received good service and why she hasn't listed and ranked THOSE places.
