it's not. They are people too and outside of extra weight have the same feelings and emotions has everyone else. Don't lump them into something they are not.

The thing is everyone has issues that they struggle with in one way or another. And there is someone else out there that could judge something you do
If one person’s issues happen to manifest as overeating, how does that make them less of a person? There are actual assholes out there manipulating and abusing people. But someone who eats too much and hurts no one is beneath you?
And that’s not taking into account all the medical issues that can lead to weight gain. My bipolar meds made me fat. Does that make me worthless?

That is one thing you can control, we all struggle with overeating.
