You are going to look back at this time in your life and obsession with this dog and punch yourself in the gut.

Why? That makes no sense.

Most ppl can say that about their children. At less Nymeria makes me proud, most children are just disappointments, just like their parents.

You are not going to see it now, apparently.

also

comparing dogs to having children is not a mentally healthy exercise.

It's good that you're being responsible, alcoholism and rage disorder are both hereditary.

Absolutely, I know I'm different, but I'm not crazy.

I seem extremely basic and normal on the outside, which terrifies me.

It’s not a criticism at all. There’s nothing wrong with it

I was just making an observation/conversation

I don't agree with that, outside of maybe a self imposed high level attachment to the animal.

Are you also better than other ppl?

I hate having an extremely good memory and being better at everything than others but sex, I'm terrible in bed.

I just mean as far as having to do everything for them, they can’t vocalize their needs, can’t come and go as you please, etc

Thinking you are special/unique/best is more narcissistic personality disorder

Hpd thinks they are more attractive/charming/funnier or whatever. But doesn’t really feel above others like narcissists if that makes sense
