Race isn’t the issue here that it is in other cities bc there isn’t the economic disparity usually seen.
You keep grasping at extremes like saying he was getting beaten. He got punched; he wasn’t jumped or beaten to within a threat of his life. The fight was allegedly broken up pretty quickly by school officials but not quickly enough to stop the stabbing. Bc there was an illegal weapon brought to a school event.
They weren’t off in some dark alley alone somewhere. They were at a school event surrounded by school officials. No one would have died that day without a weapon being brought on campus.
This is a very tight community and this is a tragedy. One kid is dead and another’s life is practically over. We don’t need outsiders agitating an already heartbreaking situation.

That is key. He got punched, not just randomly either, tensions were building. Then pulled out a knife, which is breaking law on school grounds, and stabbed him.

No but he has a Pearl Jam video about an incident that occurred in Richardson, TX (partly Collin Co and partly Dallas Co as if that mattered) in 1991 when I was a junior in a NOLA high school where murders happen daily instead of annually.
