HEB has dropped in quality and style. Especially their meats. Can't even find a damn decent bone in ribeye at some of the stores. I mean who doesn't love a good bone in ribeye?

Amazing how blown out of proportion this story has become.
Sure has… especially by the people acting like killing a white kid was equal to winning the Super Bowl while donating 10’s of thousands of dollars to the murderer

I absolutely did not. I posted the locally circulated rumors and added that these rumors were being told by 17 and 18 year kids so you could take them for what they were worth. I also pushed back against those defending Anthony using completely fabricated “facts” like he was being beat up. I stated from the beginning that my son was friends with Austin and I believed this was an unjustified murder. Everything else in that post seems to be playing out.
I understand, that’s why I said that was how your post initially came off when you were posting rumors from teenagers

There are 16 murders a day in this country, many equally as sad.
Add a white kid, a black kid and affluent burb with gossips everywhere and you get these emotional overreactions.
Let the family mourn in their own way without creating this circus

You should direct your ire to people celebrating the kids death and donating money

High school kid in a good area gets stabbed in close-to-cold blood by a thug in the middle of morning track meet and dies in the arms of his twin brother
It's going to be story Rog
and with hundreds of thousands of dollars given to the murdered who is being praised by black people online - it's a spectacle whether we like it or not

Not really. I was posting about the topic when it was a busy thread. Newbie was bitching about locals posting off topic in a thread that wasn’t busy.

They are as dumb and lost as those who think the murder was racial, without evidence..

So locals shouldn’t post what’s being said in an area when something becomes a national story? Even if they clearly state they are rumors? Everything else in that post looks to be true.

I was bashed for saying something similar in the beginning but now the circus is in full form. There’s no turning back from it now that the arrested suspect’s family is using the media and useful idiots.

Everyone is angry, few are actually compassionate.
Even Austins father has been attacked on social media by those who are against the perp.

Lady, you did everything you could to downplay the situation and spread misinformation. I didn’t do that, you did. Like I said, it may have not been your intention but your rumor filled post came off as defending Karmelo and blaming the victim. I know I’m not the only one who saw it either.
Anyway… this sucks for your community and it will probably get worse. It looks like the murderer, his supporters, and his legal team is determined to tear your city apart

Go ahead and quote where I said the murder was racial. You can’t, just making shite up.
Now the aftermath has certainly been racial with black people celebrating the kids death and saying he deserved it

HEB to me is about a half a notch above Kroger,
HEB is a good bit better but I’m lazy so I don’t go there often.

What an ignorant comparison

I'd say the people giving money to the murderer and calling him a hero are dumber than those looking at a statistical reality and making perhaps the wrong assumption.
I suspect race was not the primary motivation in this case, but until the country dispenses with the stupidity, you're going to have incidents like this used as an outlet to talk about a reality you can't usually talk about.
