only capital murder (murder while committing a felony e.g., armed robbery) is punishable by death in Tx.

I did not know that.

Interesting.

I was called up last year then cancelled the night before. I’m just inside Denton line though so I wouldn’t get this one, anyway.

curious to see how this plays out given the entire surroundings/circumstances, as long as it stays in Collin County that is

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind sitting in on this one but I’m sure the defense will not want moms of FISD high school students on the jury. They would much prefer someone from McKinney or Prosper, I’m sure.

LOL! Some people have no shame. These are all GoFundMe appeals for Karmelo

They started gofundme for Rittenhouse too. This case is the same thing. People making bad decisions that were 100% avoidable.

Are you saying that the dead student is a pedo?

Because Rittenhouse defended himself against some of your violent buddies.

Yes. It has been alleged that the twins bullied young Mr. Anthony and his girlfriend. That is what allegedly caused him to show up at the track meet with a knife. And then the bullying allegedly continued.

I see no difference between this case and Rittenhouse case. A bunch of dumb kids. If you supported Rittenhouse, you should be supporting this kid

All that he said she said won't sway jurors here.

If I'm on that jury, I'm sending a message to my community that it is NEVER okay to bring weapons to school in this here county in the Great State of Texas.

Would you care to place a wager on this?

In my younger days I got called for Jury duty for the Janet Meyers murder trial. I was a youngster then and had coached at the playground the two murderers played softball at - after a night at F&M I showed up for jury duty hungover and wearing a ball cap from said playground - the DA guy smiled and told me they are gonna balk at you - as SOON as they called my name and I stood up = the defense gonged me.

It gave me chills and pained me greatly years later to see one of those guys at one of my son's baseball games when son was 11. Both men got released years later.
