I have no single female friends. Any female friends I do have are buddies' wives. I don't socialize with women other than my wife. Women at work are treated professionally and kept at arm's length.

My female friend says men after 50 do not want female friends??
Then tell her to gtfo like everyone else apparently has and go to the strip club with a few thousand.

I don't know what that means, but maybe it means they don’t want female friends with chaos, drama, and nonsense in their lives, and if so, then that would apply to pretty much any age for me, but especially after 50 when I have even less tolerance for it than I did when I was younger.

Can men have female friends?
Sure. But there will always be sexual tension between them. Men and women want to frick and whether they act on this biological impulse or not, it's always there lurking in the shadows.
