I'm off today....but I did work last night/this am so technically I did work this Friday.
We had a code red go off at like 3 am in the entire hospital last night. (Code red...fire). Hospital announces it is on the floor and area I work in. As we are racing around to close all the doors(protocol), security calls us to tell us the smoke detector on our floor set off the alarm. One in a staff bathroom.
One of the nurses went to the bathroom to poop....sprayed so much air freshner it set off smoke detector.

Nah, she was pooping. One of the security guards had gone into the bathroom that set off the alarm and then walked out and said loudly "Ok who just dookied in the bathroom?" Later on one of the Filipino nurses asked the other nurses "What does dookie mean?"
The nurse that did it turned bright red. She got lectured from security about how to properly spray air freshner post pooping without setting off fire alarm.

Was certainly not me. I don't know why this nurse got all embarrassed then though. She is always very vocal about her bowel patterns. 30 minutes before it happened I was helping her hold a baby for a lab draw and she just announced "Man I gotta go poop". Posted on 3/11/16 at 3:40 pm to lsunurse
