but it is not in my view a sex crime,

Not a sex crime? What an absurd conclusion.

So if they stuck a coat hanger up a females rectum, would it still not be a "sex crime?"

It really eats you up that people rightfully avoid predominately black lower class areas because they will more likely be victims of crimes than in lower class white areas?

I'm expecting that this will be ignored except for a handful of negative responses. It doesn't fit the narrative.

Of course it will be. Like I said, many last night said if a white person did anything similar to a black person, especially with special needs, they would be immediately charged and convicted of a hate crime, not to mention plastered all over the news for weeks. Funny how this was in the news for about a day and then the guy is given a free pass.

He had a plea bargain. This happens on a daily basis in America for whites and blacks. For example, when I worked in Homicide a young black man was charged with 5 counts of attempted murder, but he was able to plea to disturbing the peace and illegal discharge. He was sentenced to 2 years probation and told to do a book report and turn it into the judge within three months. People of all colors are given multiple chances in this country.

I don't disagree. BUt again, all the OT prophets said whitey would be charged and convicted of a hate crime in a flash. In fact, many were assuring me and others. One even said "YOu know it would happen". ARe you saying they are wrong? It also sounds like you are saying don't generalize and stereotype.

90% of the time inside with you.

But your schtick is seriously getting old. Like a couple of years too old.

Spend your time doing something else or get another alter and start fresh.

Lots of times. In fact I started a thread earlier about school closings. I don't start threads about race. I reply to comments about race though.

Because of everyone who came, but my people have adapted and overcome a lot of obstacles. I belong to a federally recognized tribe and I'm a casino shareholder. I know that even that is a shame to our people in the bigger picture. Half arse compensation that doesn't make up for the past..but nothing can be done now. I dont want to run good people from their homes.

we cant let our past dictate what is now. We all live here together. Differences between people can be a beautiful thing, but like with all things there is another side of that.

I dont hold or blame the whites of today for what happened in the past. And It was more than a slavery, it was a genocide. Our histories have been erased in places, things about this land we will never know.

That is how things are, the question is "how do we move forward and better all quality of life?"..and the answer to that question is the action you take.

I'll explain it. His parents pony'd up the cash for lawyer and got his sentence reduced. What else you want to know?

This one would be harder to be charged as a hate crime IMO, but I also didn't read the details of the case. I would also say the media will push the hate crime narrative if it's a white on black crime just because controversy sells advertisement.

Also, that the court system is NOT discriminatory against blacks as a lot will try to say it is. You can't take two similar cases and compare the outcomes, because there are too many different unknown variables with each case. IE criminal 1 may have a longer criminal history than criminal 2 and therefore will more than likely get a harsher sentence than criminal 2.

Now, there is biased against poorer people only because they don't have the resources to fight the mighty wheels of justice.

Maybe. Probably. But you should also know that When income, prior records, etc, are controlled for, people of color receive harsher sentences, end up serving more jail time, and are given higher bonds for similar crimes. This includes crimes ranging from minor drug offenses to capital murder and everything in between. Of course there are always exceptions but when this data is looked at as a whole it's true. That's a fact. You can look that up in many criminal justice journals and even on the Internet.
