Hybrids make a lot more sense for trucks.
If they were going to do a full electric truck the Ranger or Maverick would have made more sense from a use standpoint (lighter and more of a commuter vehicle with less towing).

Not surprising. I can count on one how many Lightning’s I’ve seen in the wild.

Billions spent by the federal govt retooling factories for EVs (Corporate grift) and it fails.
Who couldnt see this coming? Central planning is an abomination.

Not going to lie, I love my Lightning. Hood Ford in Hammond was struggling with EVs in 2023, $90k lightning lariat left that lot for $49k- couldn’t get a gas Lariat anywhere near that price. I do medical sales for a social justice company and they offered $600/mo for gas or $1000/mo car stipend for EV. I took the plunge. Not a practical truck, not for everyone, but I have been really surprised. And I am not a libtard. For towing, SUCKS. For work and utility truck, AMAZING (work site/tradework/construction). But I am glad to see they are canceling- go woke go broke.

I could see a hybrid, but no one wants a total EV truck at any price, much less 100k
