Would it bother you if a stranger askes you the meaning behind one of your tattoos?

Every time i see someone in an airport or another public place, where all walks of life exist, who is covered in tats i usually find a few that look pretty unique and they make me want to ask what it is or if there is a story behind it etc.. but i dont know if its rude or inappropriate.

Isnt part of covering your arms or legs in tats somewhat for the attention?

I'll give you a serious answer.

No, it doesn't bother me if anyone asks about the meanings behind them.

Except the tramp stamp. Don't ask me about that one

When someone decides to put that much ink on their body they know that people are going to look at then more so than other non tatted randoms

Same goes for a bright pink shirt, but that doesn't mean the person is wearing it for attention.

Not really. Go for it.

But mine are covered up except when I'm at the pool or beach.

It's 100% for the attention, same with weird piercings.
