Was there a more “down bad” status in computer gaming then 90% of your group succumbing to dysentery, river fjord disasters, injuns and bear attacks while having rations on bare bones?

Clearly you've never faced the computer cheating in Civ4. I rage quit a new civ this morning because the computer knew what I was doing and they spawned a bunch of Spearsmen and Warriors and a Spearsman took out the experienced Axeman I created which is like a 1 in 100 event which then let them take my capitol.

A good question is which version of OT people immediately think of, and a good way to tell the difference is how the hunting unfolded.

I was a fricking SNIPER in this version. I could pick off rabbits and squirrels.

You can still play at oregontrail.ws. I let my students play if they finish an assignment early.

I got the shigella one time. Decades later and I can still remember leaning up against the hallway trying to make it to the bathroom again and failing. It also felt like someone was driving corkscrew into my spine because I was so dehydrated. I probably should have been in the hospital but people didn’t give a crap about kids back then.
