You know, complaining about the hoodrats, rascals, kids coming from outside neighborhoods, 20 kids in a sedan, kids grabbing candy from your stash, etc etc. I have four words for you.

I’m sorry you’re poor

That doesn’t make sense.

You should be sorry that they’re poor and invade our neighborhoods.

You're obviously too poor to generously share with children just trying to make a memory.

Yeah, the good neighborhoods get invaded, but the great neighborhoods never have a problem.

I live in a doorman building in NYC. I don't have a riff raff problem.

Also, it is something that comes with the territory. It happens every year. That's just life, there are going to be some ignorant people who do ignorant shite. People can either not let it ruin their night or don't hand out candy.

But people need something to complain about.

So much insecurity on this site. Got to prove you aren't trash and are better than others. So transparent and pathetic.

I'd much rather them come to our neighborhood and have a safe night trick or treating than go in their own neighborhood and get caught in the crossfire.
We should be happy for those kids! At least they got to enjoy their night tonight and got candy.
Most of their neighbors cannot afford to purchase candy and they got to enjoy one of the funnest things about being a kid!

They don't see kids. They see someone who doesn't belong in their neighborhood.

Sucks for the people in those neighborhoods. We have a plastic cauldron and have to encourage the kids to take as much as they want (and the parents as well) and routinely have shitloads of candy left over (and we carry the good stuff, Twix, Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kat, etc).

State St. uptown Nola gets all these types and you can’t find a house for under $800k on that street.

It’s one night a year and for kids who live in shitty situations, I don’t have a problem if they are behaving themselves.
