Destructive thunderstorm tag on the storm in NE Oklahoma about to go just north of Springdale, AR. Baseball sized hail with 70mph wind gusts, also tornado warned.

We need a weather thread for tonight/tomorrow. Just got our 1st severe TS Warning for large hail and winds. Tornado watch. Looks freaky outside. It’s that time of the year again!

I’ll admit that I usually suspect hail or wind when the sirens go off now. Was surprised when the alert went off on the weather radio for my zip code for an actual tornado warning.

They test the sirens every Wednesday at noon in my neck. Always catches me off guard.

Wednesday at noon. Only freaks me out when they talk on the intercom. Don’t know why that still surprises me when it’s expected. Sounds like God screaming at me every time.
