I don't know about Florida, but in Louisiana if the utility/telecom vehicle is parked in the servitude - in front of the pole - the customer or homeowner is SOL. Doesn't matter if that happens to be right in front of his driveway.
Doesn't say if that was the issue that caused the old man to go nuts, but ultimately, you can't screw with utility/telecom workers or vehicles.

Yep. He's proven not to be a responsible gun owner. Putting him in jail for 6 months and taking away his guns is a just punishment. I'm just glad the old nut shot at truck tires and not at a barking neighborhood dog or a teenager's loud stereo.
