Flooding in SE Baton Rouge

They are comparing this flood to 83. My recollection is that parts of Old Jefferson, Tigerbend road, Antioch Rd area were all under water. Are they expecting the same?

I seem to recall parts of Shenandoah flooded as well.

Tigerbutt, nice sig name btw. I checked out some of your posts. Not impressed. Quite being so critical of my post. Just wanting to know what everyone expects. I see there are no sand bag pick up spots, so dpw must not think it will get too bad.

I live off of Elliot. Says crest is 39' at denham which is a couple feet shy of the '83 flood. Still should get interesting. My neighborhood is built above base flood. I'm more concerned about being able to get out and in. Claycut bayou at Elliot looked really high yesterday. Interested to see what it looks like today.

I would call it a ot baller neighborhood but it probably falls short of that. Only 400k to 700k houses in the neighborhood. Actually that might be ot poor. Never mind. Moving on.
