Flood Insurance in New Orleans

Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a rental house in New Orleans close to Lakeview (I know, subtle brag). I let my flood insurance lapse in 2016 due to high cost but with plans to sign up again once the flood zones were updated.
My address is now flood zone X, so technically flood insurance is optional. Right now I have basic homeowners without flood insurance through Allstate but the premiums have been going up yearly so its time to shop around.
Google search is not helpful, couldn't find a similar TD discussion in search, and big companies won't give me a quick online quote for New Orleans. And my Allstate guy is MIA today. Which insurance companies should I call first who write homeowners plus flood for zone X in Orleans parish? Appreciate any recs!

I would call an insurance agency - they will do it all for you. I use Acessible insurance

Waste of money. New Orleans never floods.

Flood insurance is underwritten by the national flood insurance program, not private insurers. Your Allstate guy can arrange it for you though. Since it is a rental it will be $650 per year.
