Buy an extra mask, hose, etc now so if something breaks you won't be without treatment for multiple days. Insurance may not cover now but then go through insurance when ordering subsequent supplies when you start using the backups.
My struggle is that I take off my mask and shut off the machine in the middle of night without thinking about it. A ring oxygen sensor has helped because it'll vibrate and wake me up if oxygen drops below 87%, and then I'll put mask back on.

After 6+ years of working with mine I can offer the hose that goes on top of your head on the mask is way less intrusive since it can go behind your pillow.
And ambien is the devil. Don't take it unless you absolutely need it and be prepared to have many restless nights once you decide to stop taking it. I would just lay there all night because your body stops it's natural process to go to sleep and it takes a long time to recover. I could never take a quick nap because I couldn't go out. Plus the weird crap that ambien can make you do and the memory loss isn't worth it.

Good morning!
Last night was night #1. My SO said I never moved and it was like sleeping next to a dead person. From 59 events per hour to 13.5. Damn I feel good.
