The restaurants are closed except for takeout. If restaurants and bars are that big in your life. YOU lead a very boring life.

I went on a road trip yesterday. How about you, man of daring and adventure?

Well I went to my office...I ate lunch alone at my desk when I would usually have lunch with several friends or clients...

Then I left and had to grab a drink at a drive through Daquirie Shopp when I would usually stop at a local dive for a couple happy hour drinks with friends or clients.

Then I stopped by the grocery store and picked up a few items to cook dinner..Taco Tuesday....where everyone was wearing mask and gloves and staying 6' away from each other and acting like everyone in the store is infected. When we would usually have friends over for Taco Tuesday we were only allowed to be alone..again for the 21st day in a row....

I can go fishing but it's no fun going alone...cant go to Grand Isle because the beach is close and the marinas are closed...I can goo to my camp but its no fun going alone.

If you havent noticed any change in your life in the past 2-3 weeks then I really do feel sorry for you.

There is no lockdown in Monroe area - fools are acting like it is business as usual. I am guessing the virus count is about to explode in northern Louisiana.

tell me about this road trip

What does a road trip look like when almost everything is closed?

Went to visit friends in Crossville.

It looks like start to finish...get gas and cold drinks at Speedway.

Swing thru BK for a biscuit.

Take a leisurely 100 mile drive...including 18 miles of East Valley Rd...only part I didn't enjoy. I was in an SUV. I missed my Supra. Used to drive East Valley like a rally race. 100 mph or bust.

Stop at Simonton's Gourmet and Cheese House and spend way too much on cheeses and jellies.

Go to friend's house. Relax several hours and catch up. Cook out. Eat.

Come back through Dunlap to see what has changed (nothing).

Go home. 215 mile round trip.

This is Tennessee. We are not hiding in fear.

How was looking out the window at your place?

Gettysburg, PA.

The military has mandated we stay within a 50-mile radius of our homes and thus I am unable to actually go visit Gettysburg and photograph the battlefield as often as I'd like to.
