First Camp Resort for Pot Users in Colorado

“We’re bringing an element of luxury to that adventurous, exploratory vibe of childhood summer camp — in a beautiful setting where visitors can enjoy marijuana in a safe, comfortable, social environment,” Joel Schneider, head of the management group opening CannaCamp, said in a statement.
Guests stay in cabins that allow smoking on porches but not inside.
Rates start at $395 per person per night, with a three-night minimum.

When I'm high, the last thing I want to do is hang around a bunch of hippies that talk about how weed can save the world. I'll smoke and watch MacGyver reruns at my house for free.

You have to have a license to sell marujuana. they are very difficult to obtain. You go down the street to purchase weed.
Keep this in mind. Most hotels are non-smoking. And even threaten to fine you if they smell pot after your stay (hint vape pen). A few have smoking rooms, and still "officially" don't allow pot use. Don't ask don't tell kind of arrangement.
And you can't legally smoke in public or in your car.
There are a number of growing resort style destinations that allow pot use. Early stages, tho.

I think I may live in one of the few accommodation settings in the world where I am 100% permitted to smoke in my place of residence. I live in Amsterdam, and while weed is actually tolerated rather that fully legalized (as many of you probably well know). Anyway because I live in international student housing, the housing company knows imposing such prohibitive measures againststudents living inAmsterdam is a futile effort to say the least. Thus its stated within in our contract that we are fully permitted to consume 'soft drugs' (meaning I can trip balls on psilocybin as well) with the permission of one's suite- or flatmate.

What's the latest with cannabis for tourists? Are they still trying to shut that down?
I'm sitting in a very similar setting as the pic of the resort. Except there is a house or three in the way. But it is legal. In Colorado.

The conservative regime in power now has by and large adopted a more anti-cannabis stance. In Maastricht and other towns in the Southern provinced wietpas (weedpass) allowing only residents/citizens have been implemented to curb the flow of buy and fly drug tourists flocking en mass from BE, FR and DE to stock up in bulk. While the same can't be said for Amsterdam or the other Ranstad cities (Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam), all of these cities have taken efforts to clamp down and close several coffeshops in recent years. There has been a strong push to cap the THC content of nugs too, and of that same vain wax/shatter was made an illegal drug this past summer. Nonetheless there's probably not a safer city in the world to puff carefreely on a joint while strolling the streets...
