Imagine how well the Skyraider would have dominated in the Pacific if it had been ready in significant numbers in WW2.

When I was at Southeastern, I took a theater class called Stage Craft, It was basically building the sets for plays. We used Elmer's glue and water to shape cloth for certain designs, like cypress trees.. Basically paper mache with cloth.

My Dad had a ton of hours in Skyraiders, and lobbed a test nuke off one.

I paid a guy to build a USMC Skyraider model for my Dad. It was in his Marine room. Some bratty kid got in there during a social function at his house and tore the model up.
