Well you have FB...that's your first problem.
Why does FB have to be a problem? Mine usually isn't.

Almighty enough? Dude, she's a fricking psycho pill head and he has chrohns disease which doesn't allow him a good job.

Has the OP clarified this thread at all?

Are you asking if it's OK to tell them to get an abortion? No that's not OK in any situation.

The problem with the world is not people judging others, it's people incapable of exercising good judgement for themselves.

Yeah, that's a pretty inappropriate thing to say. You know, most people have very strong moral feelings about that topic.

Is he happy? Scared? Nervous? About the only thing you can do is be there to support your friend (I don't mean financially). If he's happy, say congrats. If he has reservations, you can be honest and tell him the good & bad things about being a parent.

At this point since family is already planning parties & shite, it's very doubtful that they will either abort or put the kid up for adoption. So anything negative you say won't do any good, and could hurt your friendship.

Gather perspective. Living in America takes hard work to not be able to find food. Our standard of living is different than a lot of the rest of the world.

What's to say?

Chron's can often be managed with proper diet and medication. It sounds like he's using that as a crutch against having to get a job. Trash attracts trash.

I've seen this sort of drama play out tons of times over the years. If you just can't hold it in any longer, have the conversation with your friend. Tell him how worried you are because of his daughter's pill-popping and because of her man's general douchieness. After your friend passes on, just let any relationship you have with those two fade.

Otherwise your only option is just to keep your yap shut. Saying anything to the couple will just create needless drama and drag you down.
